Discover the joy of turning “junk” into creative treasure! In this hands-on workshop, maker-facilitator Nikki Luscombe introduces the whimsical world of junk journaling—where vintage papers, ephemera, and everyday scraps become beautiful, hand-stitched books. Whether you're drawn to art journaling, memory keeping, or simply love the idea of upcycling with flair, this relaxed 3-hour session is the perfect place to start. You’ll learn how to design and hand-stitch your own journal, then dive into your first spread using a curated mix of materials. No experience needed, just curiosity and a playful spirit. All materials provided, including: • Vintage & recycled papers (tea-dyed, card stock, etc.) • Glue sticks, scissors, washi tape • Embroidery thread & sewing needle • Stickers and assorted ephemera Optional: BYOJunk! Feel free to bring old postcards, ticket stubs, maps, or paper scraps to personalize your journal.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel your workshop or event booking, please contact us as soon as possible. If you cancel at least 2 weeks prior to the event, you will receive a refund minus a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be provided if cancelled less than 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the event. If for whatever reason, St. Marys Creative Retreat cancels a workshop or event, you will be fully refunded the cost of your ticket.
