Let's celebrate the opening day of the retreat! Join us for an entertaining and inspiring keynote session with Emm Gryner on Finding Your Unique Creative Voice!
Emm Gryner is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with three Juno Award nominations. She founded Dead Daisy Records, one of the first independent record labels in Canada, to support emerging artists. Emm started a metal band in 2024 called Ovary Axe, where she is the principal songwriter, bass player and vocalist.
Emm has collaborated with David Bowie, contributing vocals on tour and in the studio, and worked with Def Leppard on a reimagined version of “Pour Some Sugar On Me” featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra based on her 2000 cover song.
Emm co-created the first music video in space, a rendition of “Space Oddity” with astronaut Chris Hadfield aboard the International Space Station and recently, she co-wrote and sang "Touch the Sky" inspired by…
